The EHEIM Universal Intake Installation Kit is designed for use with 16/22mm (5/8" ID) tubing. This comprehensive kit includes the following components: 2 suction cups with clips, a hose coupling, a set of sealing rings, an inlet strainer, a cap, and a connector complete with a cup and sealing rings for the hose. This basic set allows for easy attachment to the inlet side of all external filters, enabling you to decide where the water will be drawn into the aquarium. The hose and installation connection are completely safe and watertight. Depending on your preference, the suction pipe can be lengthened or shortened as needed. The hose can be cleaned easily without the need for removal. The EHEIM quality suction cups provide a safe and permanent attachment within the tank.

In addition to the 16/22mm (5/8" ID) size, the EHEIM Installation Set is also available in a 12/16mm (1/2" ID) size for use with filters that require smaller tubing.
