Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filter for up to 55 Gallon Aquarium

The Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters were developed by fish enthusiasts to satisfy the needs of fellow hobbyists and their fish tank requirements. These filters come with large media baskets, pre-loaded with media for all three stages of filtration: Foam Pads (mechanical), Carbon (chemical), Bio-Balls and Bio-Ceramic Rings (biological). Designed for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, the filter media can be arranged to fit any aquarium.

Each filter comes with different return fixtures to choose from, including a traditional Water Director, Spray Bar, and a unique hang-on-the-back Polishing Unit. The Polishing Unit allows for the use of one Large Aqueon Filter Cartridge to filter the water one final time before entering the aquarium. The cartridge is quick and easy to replace, taking just a moment to do.

The Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters are available in three different sizes, suitable for aquariums up to 155 gallons. These filters offer multi-stage filtration, including biological, chemical, and mechanical components, ensuring optimal water quality for the health and well-being of aquarium inhabitants.

The easy-access design of the Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters allows for quick routine maintenance. The included hang-on-the-back Polishing Unit provides additional versatility, allowing users to tailor the water return options to best suit their aquarium's specific habitat requirements. The Polishing Unit utilizes Large Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges, which should be replaced monthly.

The internal media within the Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters is also designed for easy maintenance. The activated carbon should be changed every 30 days, while the foam pad can be rinsed or replaced as needed. The white polishing pad can be changed as required to maintain optimal water clarity.

Each Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filter comes equipped with a range of accessories, including quick disconnect valves, pump locking heads, water intake and output connections, hoses, the water polishing unit with a cartridge, and the necessary media components: activated carbon, coarse foam, bio-balls, and bio-ceramic rings.
