Using the Temperature Controller After placing the heater fully in water, wait about 10 seconds for the LED to display the accurate water temperature. Then you can press the set button on the controller to cycle through the temperature range of 63°F to 94°F. Stop when you reach your desired setting and wait for the digits to flash 3 times - the new temperature is now programmed.

The heater will automatically stop heating when the water reaches the set temperature, and resume heating when the temperature drops 1°F below the setting.
